Android release notes: The latest release includes an indication of the strength of a speaker's network connection that appears when speakers are experiencing poor network conditions. We also added handling for the number of viewers and talkroom status (started/not started) to our backend and adjusted the mechanism for sending the Say Hi and Follow messages. In addition, there was a bug fix for the animation on the Cocktail Party matching page.

This release includes several optimizations and bug fixes. We added the option for users to hide and then reopen the poll, updated the UI for mobile speaker, decreased the size of the icons in horizontal view, and included a loading animation during poor network conditions. In addition, we fixed a bug where there was a black screen when a speaker joined on mobile after an impromptu Cocktail Party.

The most recent release includes a toast after each round of Cocktail Party matching. The toast prompts users to continue their conversations through Chat, and we also added a custom chat message that tells users if they met someone during a Cocktail Party. Additionally, there have been a number of bug fixes and improvements related to speakers not showing up in the talkroom, Cocktail Party ending 1 or 2 seconds late, and the app crashing when some users clicked on the Chat tab.

In our latest release, we added a joined channel message to the group chats so that users can keep track of who has joined the group message.In addition, there were improvements to the cocktail party flow and start time. Bug fixes regarding entering the group chat, seeing people who are grabbing the mic, and seeing the updated number of messages, among others, were also implemented.

In this newest release, we integrated GIPHY into Messages and improved the UI for Cocktail Party. Additionally, we added polling for matching results and updated the SDK for Messages. There are also numerous bug fixes related to scrolling during share screen, receiving messages, and viewing screen share when there are more than four speakers.

The latest release includes a new search function in the messaging tab. Users can search for either the name of the group or the name of the individual they want to message. We have also improved both our Cocktail Party matching algorithm and the loading speed of the messaging tab. In addition, known issues related to the login process and Impromptu Cocktail Party have been fixed.

The latest releases optimizes the Cocktail Party experience for those who joined late or in the middle of rounds. They will now experience drastically less wait time in general. There are also a lot of UI updates to Cocktail Party result sharing, group-based Cocktail matching, and event creation. We have also fixed multiple known bugs related to message notification, Cocktail Party creation, bio text sizing, scrolling across simultaneous sessions, and the follower’s list.

We have also added a follower and contact section to your profile, so you can better track your new connections on Run The World. There have been some overall optimizations to the app including phrasing adjustments, event default descriptions, and meeting status synchronization.
